Requiem For a Dream

This is such a movie for D.A.R.E. I loved the cinematography. Ellen Burstyn was wonderfully wonderful as the mother of Harry (Jared Leto). Marlon Wayan and Jennifer Connelly's beautifully traumatic roles as Harry's girlfriend and trainspotting buddy. This is just such a great movie. Everyone should watch this movie, if not for these things, then just for the cute little Jared Leto. But WATCH IT FOR ELLEN BURSTYN!
Geek Love, by Katherine Dunn

Great book. Flash back sorta thing or something. A highly imaginitive tale of hope, loss, love, sideshows, incest, telekinesis, you name it, it might as well be there. Grab it, read it, live your life by it. Wait, no, hold on that last one, might not be such a great idea.
Luzern (Lucerne), Switzerland

When in Europe, you must visit Luzern. I don't know what is so great about this city when I was here every friggin day, but now, I miss this beautiful little city. When here, be sure to sit in the benches in front of the Lowendenkmal and get sat on by tourists taking pictures, determined to keep you out of their treasured memories. Treasure this moment as these asses came from oceans away. There is also a little store ran by a couple that sells old old Swiss things. The owners are really nice, so drop in and say hi.
Playground Love, Air

Sexy little single from the soundtrack The Virgin Suicides. It's sung by a fella named Gordon Track. The seemingly meaningless lyrics stopped making sense after about the 20th listen. Levi's had this little commercial with the guy from Y Tu Máma También pushing the car over the pier, well the point is they played this song.
Velvet Underground & Nico

It's the Velvet Underground, c'mon.
